Student Roost expands Scottish PBSA portfolio with sixth Glasgow property

Merchant Apartments will officially become part of the Student Roost brand on 9 August, expanding Student Roost's operating portfolio in Scotland. The property will provide 588 beds to prospective residents who will be receiving their A Level results in the same week (13 August).

Conveniently located opposite Student Roost's Merchant Studios property and within a 10-minute walking distance of both the University of Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian University, the property offers a choice of studio and en-suite accommodation, alongside a breadth of 24/7 amenities including social spaces, a gym and cinema room. 

The inclusion of Merchant Apartments in Student Roost's operating portfolio brings the brand’s total bed spaces in Scotland to 3,792, spanning 12 properties across Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Glasgow. Student Roost’s current Scottish portfolio comprises of two properties in Aberdeen, four in Edinburgh and six in Glasgow, reflecting continued investment across key university cities.
